A Weekend In Macau
Casinos, Museums, and Filipinos. These are the top three things that I can remember from my Macau experience. With a record of twenty thousand steps for the first day (according to my FITBIT), Macau’s beauty is TRULY SPECTACULAR! Get to know why!
So a month ago, me and my girl decided to spend a weekend here in Macau with the family. Since it was my first time here in Macau, I had so many questions about what it’s like or what I should expect, “is it like HK?” “Is it like Las Vegas?” “Where to eat?” Bla bla bla. But as soon as we landed Macau, from the airport going to the hotel, I was just literally speechless, I remember sitting in the window looking for spots where I can shoot or places that I want to see and go to. MACAU, You are undeniably beautiful. We booked 3 nights in The Venetian Macao hotel, on the Cotai Strip in Macau. Known as the largest casino in the world and largest single structure hotel here in Asia. Right after checking in, we headed straight to the mall, and went straight to the Venetian food court. Before ordering anything, I remember looking at the famous sky ceiling that looks very real and trippy (coolest sh*t I’ve seen in Macau, BTW) then went straight for a roasted suckling pig with chili sauce and rice. Complete your Macau experience with this HEAVY DUTY MEAL!
If you’re going to Macau for the first time, maybe you can redo my simple but very fun itinerary!
FIRST DAY: ARRIVAL
Quick shoot inside the room for social media purposes
Went straight to the Venetian Mall Food Court then ordered the famous roasted suckling pig!
Walked around the mall (Shopping *it’sexpensive in Macau!)
Back to the hotel room to change clothes/ Rest 30 mins.
Time to explore, going around Macau is beautiful, so much lights everywhere.
The Grand Canal Shoppes – The Shoppes at Four Season – so much tourist spot and outfit shot locations!
Then back to the hotel. We walked everywhere, you wouldn’t get tired because the weather is cold. (Ber month season).
Twenty thousand plus steps according to Fitbit!
Day 2: Breakfast. Legit.
We took a bus to the old Macau City
Visited the Ruins of St.Paul’s.
On the way back, we tried their famous beef jerky (street version is the way to go!)
We walked everywhere. I couldn’t remember the exact places that we went to.
Took outfit shots in every corner that I saw that was dope and instagram worthy.
Went back to the other side of Macau, then we watched The House of Dancing Water. THIS IS A MUST SEE.
Walked back to the hotel, then Dinner.
EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT.
Macau should definitely be your next stop. I can’t wait to be back here. So much places to go and see.
